HYCCT1408 = my hero. My hero is my late Mother. She was a "giver"...and many times, anonymously. Doing good to be doing good, not the praise or glory it might bring her. She also was a stoic in regards to her personal trials. When she died of cancer, most friends had no idea the cause of her death since she kept it to herself and family. Her thought was, "Everybody has their problems, they don't need mine too." Her other tenet was "If sitting on a stump and crying would help, I'd do it...but it won't. So I'll be up and at 'em". I miss her and my Dad greatly.

Somehow I missed this fabulous card. Your story of your mom is so sweet. Your mom sounds like a very strong woman. Your card is so fun with the wings inside wardrobe. The lone feather is a great touch.

Such a wonderfully expressive card! The dropped feather from the wings has great symbolism for the card and the open wardrobe gives such good dimension to it.
I love the positive attitude you talk about from your mother. I think you might find her wings still hanging in your closet. She has given you many of her traits!
