This is my card for Bev's DTGD challenge...also Pattie's and for today's MIX80 challenge, Sparkling Watercolours.
I stamped my bird stamp on watercolour paper and coloured the image part with watercolours. Then I masked it and sponged the text part with lots of old paper and maybe there was some yellow on the sponge too, looking at it. With the mask still on I spritzed it with some homemade mister (blue re-inker, gold perfect pearls, water). Then I removed the mask and added Stickles to the flowers, and distressed the edges.
Base was stamped with Greenery in Shabby Shutters. I masked off most of the centre with a roughly torn square and used up the rest of my mist. Then I added stitching, sponged the edges with Wild Honey and added more Stickles. I wrapped it round with lave and popped up my image panel, and then finished it off with some Prima hydrgangeas layered up, and some soft velvet leaves.

This is fabulous, Sabrina! I too love the glitter on the tiny blossoms and love the wonky stitches! There are so many interesting elements on this card! Outstanding artwork and design!
