For this week's WT challenge ~ Let The Sun Shine
Not so happy with this card, but DH likes it so (unlike the other one we both consider a fail) I'll upload it anyway.
Edges of base sponged with blue.
I used Pumice Stone on my raindrop texture plate from Fiskars, and used that to stamp my rainy background. Originally I tried masking off the sun area, but it didn't look great so in the end I stamped the whole background and stamped the sun separately, cutting it out. I used Rock 'n' Roll to add a little orange along the edges of the rays.
Wrinkle Free Distress and then Linen stamped in Tumbled Glass to create my denim, then I stamped the pockets, cut them out and popped them up on foam. Added a suitable sentiment.

Very cute card! I feel like I have a pocket full of sunshine today even though the sky has been quite cloudy so far. But it made it a little less warm for my garden tour. Now I'll go make a card to spread some of your sunshine around!

Happy Anniversary Sabrina!! I hope you had lots of sunshine today!
Your card is darling!! I just love the raindrops in the background and the sunshine in the background.
Thanks so much for your well wishes and kind words!! A few weeks ago I fell while doing yard work, broke my left angle and severely injured my knee. Three days later I had a pulmonary embolism (two huge blood clots in both lungs) and almost died but God was good!! While I have a very long recovery, I am so thankful to be alive!!!
