CONGRATS to Tenia, our CAS muse for today's challenge! Her gallery is loaded with creative cards and I was inspired by many of them. I chose this card to case. My card is also for Heather's Sunday DTGD14 challenge.
I used a different image and stamped it in brown instead of black. Instead of distressing the edges in brown, I used a gold metallic mat. I added a blue linen bkgd. Instead of leaving my image uncolored, as Tenia did hers, I added some greens, yellows, oranges and selectively added metallic gold. I fussy cut out the bird and time pieces and popped them off my card with SU dimensionals.
Note: To color my flower, I used a recent PTI video ink technique, which is basically to color beyond the lines of your stamped image. I like the way the layers of watercolored ink turned out and I think I like the look of coloring beyond the lines ... at least on this image. To add all the gold to my image, I used my Bic gold metallic pen. I did not add a sentiment to the front of the card. I will stamp one on the inside when I know what occasion I will be using it for.

Hi Gabby, I just LOVE this fabulous card - wonderful image and dimension and I really like the technique you used to watercolour the flower!! Also love the blue linen bg!!
