I've made backgrounds like this before and it's fun! It's kind of like finger painting when you're squishing the paper around in the distress inks. I love gingham and this background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms is a favorite. Since my distressed background is rather bold I went with a black and white for the gingham. I love how it turned out. I hope you do,too.

Your colors are beautiful together! I like that CHF backgrounder too and forget to utilize it. It works perfectly here with you image and handmade papers. TFS

Oh, your distressing came out so pretty! It's so bold and out there, great choice of gingham colors and love that white flower against the yellow and orange!
