I think I read about this technique a long time ago, but only really discovered it a couple of years back when I was looking for something to use for a "distressed" challenge. I love it - although it didn't turn out as well on this paper as when I use manilla tags, and I certainly wasn't aiming for the St. Patrick's Day colour scheme!!
Card fits a business envelope.
I used Bundled Sage, Weathered Wood and Wild Honey for my background.
Penny Black image stamped with Versafine Black; I coloured the daisies with white acrylic paint, used H2Os for the leaves and added dots of Liquid Pearls in the flower centres. It's matted onto some pearlescent dark green card and popped up on foam. The butterfly is the one DH wouldn't let me use on Saturday, punched from a scrap of polished stone, and with flowers from the image stamped on the wings.
Sentiment is from Flourishes, stamped with Versafine Olympia Green. Since I couldn't find a matching green marker I had to add my frame in black.

Your card is fabulous! I love your distressing, flowers and butterfly, but I especially love how you framed it with the sentiment outside of the image. Just gorgeous.
