Sometimes I am such a ditz... I pondered what I would do for this challenge, ended up doing a card with a dragonfly. Well, my memory finally kicked in (that took a few days) and remembered this wonderful fabric I have with hot air balloons and kites. I bought this quite a few years ago just to use for making card.
Anyhow, I cut around this kite and another, and a hot air balloon, but I liked this one, so it's what I used.
Heat and Bond is ironed onto the back, then I started playing with how I would make a card. Well, this doesn't fold. The poem or whatever you want to call it, is from my own brain (it was working). Got that typed and printed up on the computer, then ironed on the kite.
Sometimes I am amazed at what I can do when this old brain is working properly!
Now I will get this wrapped and I'm off to the PO. We have a nice sunny and breezy day here, so the walk will be nice!

Wonderful card for Sean. The poem you wrote is just amazing - Sean will be thrilled with this card and heartfelt poem. Love the way you cut out the kite and ironed it on - lots of caring work went into your card and it turned out gorgeous. I'll be thinking of you at the beach while I sit here looking out at our frozen tundra that is sure to last a couple more months - actually we are having a warm spell - into the thirties today for the first time in weeks. Love the web cams you've been posting on Show and
Tell.
