Sometimes I am such a ditz... I pondered what I would do for this challenge, ended up doing a card with a dragonfly. Well, my memory finally kicked in (that took a few days) and remembered this wonderful fabric I have with hot air balloons and kites. I bought this quite a few years ago just to use for making card.
Anyhow, I cut around this kite and another, and a hot air balloon, but I liked this one, so it's what I used.
Heat and Bond is ironed onto the back, then I started playing with how I would make a card. Well, this doesn't fold. The poem or whatever you want to call it, is from my own brain (it was working). Got that typed and printed up on the computer, then ironed on the kite.
Sometimes I am amazed at what I can do when this old brain is working properly!
Now I will get this wrapped and I'm off to the PO. We have a nice sunny and breezy day here, so the walk will be nice!

I had forgotten all about a box of fabric bits I have sitting there, this is a great idea - the kite is so bright and cheery. I'm impressed by your poem too, I couldn't write a poem if my life depended on it! This is so personal with Sean's name!
