...and I'm not talking arm pits here. hehe If we have enough pits, maybe Bertie will teach us her technique in flinging them! ....again hehe....I'm sure someone is probably scratching their head thinking what on earth am I talking about. Well...go here and see what all the cherry and pit talk is about.......my card....
Our destination today is for Mudder's niece who has that horrible thing called cancer. I tried to make a card that would cheer Shari up and take her mind off, if only for a few minutes, her pain. So I included a scotty dog to remind her of her new puppy Nessie. ONLY I didn't see the part where her puppy is white.
To redeem myself, my puppy here which is from Rubbernecker Stamps, is Nessie's brother just checking in on the family. AND as you probably already noticed Curt is checking in on them too. I just can't control him. He just popped his head right through the card!
For my cherry tree I used a stencil, sponged with color, then versamark and crystal ep.
I made a stencil which I used for the green bushes and the blue sky.
Drew the head poppin through the card Curt, pits and strem. The scotty dog was stamped, clear ep'd and colored with prisma pencils, gamsol and copic markers. Curt was colored with copics.
Used my Mutnik square for the borders around Curt and the card. Added the little flower because I am such a messy stamper and accidentally left a smudge on the corner.
Well, hope Shari likes this even tho the doggie is black not white like hers... Hope you all are having a great week.....TFL :0)

I saw the thumb last night just as I was shutting down, and decided to save the smile for this morning . I need it more now, hard to wake up this morning. Love that fall of cherries and blossom, and the way you used your stencil for the bushes looks just fantastic. I have never seen cherries that would have pits that size, LOL, you must have a special giant breed.
Sweet pup, too.
Aha - I've made the connection, I knew I'd read about Nessie and even seen a photo of her; now I realise it was Pat's card last week, and of course Shari is her niece too. Doh!!
