...and I'm not talking arm pits here. hehe If we have enough pits, maybe Bertie will teach us her technique in flinging them! ....again hehe....I'm sure someone is probably scratching their head thinking what on earth am I talking about. Well...go here and see what all the cherry and pit talk is about.......my card....
Our destination today is for Mudder's niece who has that horrible thing called cancer. I tried to make a card that would cheer Shari up and take her mind off, if only for a few minutes, her pain. So I included a scotty dog to remind her of her new puppy Nessie. ONLY I didn't see the part where her puppy is white.
To redeem myself, my puppy here which is from Rubbernecker Stamps, is Nessie's brother just checking in on the family. AND as you probably already noticed Curt is checking in on them too. I just can't control him. He just popped his head right through the card!
For my cherry tree I used a stencil, sponged with color, then versamark and crystal ep.
I made a stencil which I used for the green bushes and the blue sky.
Drew the head poppin through the card Curt, pits and strem. The scotty dog was stamped, clear ep'd and colored with prisma pencils, gamsol and copic markers. Curt was colored with copics.
Used my Mutnik square for the borders around Curt and the card. Added the little flower because I am such a messy stamper and accidentally left a smudge on the corner.
Well, hope Shari likes this even tho the doggie is black not white like hers... Hope you all are having a great week.....TFL :0)

Ha ha! You know what? This little guy looks just like Nessie when she's been playing in the mudd! Snort! I love that you got Nessie on your card for this challenge! And Curthy, you know, don't you, that if Curt did not make an appearance, I would worry about all things not being right with you! Giggle! I love it. Could not wait to see what you came up with! Don't you be giving that pile of pitts to Bertie....if you do, you will be accomplice to her spittin!
Hope your burfday was happy.....Shari will be so happy with this cute little card Curthy! Thank you so much for making this card hers! Gives me warm fuzzies!

LOVE your card! I DO see the teapot in it! How sweet to have Nessie on there with Curt! I agree with Mother, maybe Nessie has been in the garden and found some BLACK GOLD? I LOVE your whimsical cherry tree!
Between you and your artistic drawing talent and Mothers writing ability...at the very least you two NEED to connect and make a "Tea Party" Cookbook or something! I would buy one and I am pretty sure every tea potter on SCS would! Just something for you guys to think about!

Oh!! Cathy..Thank You for making me smile....this is soooooo adorable! And I love Curt getting in there too... And don't worry about your scottie being black... I think one of Nessies relatives are black too... I know I have pics that Shari sent me of Nessie and she is with a black scottie too. And I know for sure Shari will love this, and you'll put a big smile on her face....

What a great idea to use a template for the greenery. Have to try that. That Curt is developing a bit of an ego, he now insists on having his framed portrait included in a dog scene. I think he has Hollywood syndrome.
