How timely that Cindy was looking for monkeys at the party today when I had just been making a punch-art monkey for another card yesterday .
This card is to celebrate the arrival of Patricia's two grandchildren, and of course thanks to Cindy's fun story it's nothing like any of the ideas that crossed my mind when we had advance warning of this Destination Station.
A2 base, white layer embossed with Swiss Dots and matted on blue Bazzill.
Flourish stem and leaves are Sizzix dies, cut from a scrap of old paper. Sentiment from Woodware popped up on foam.
Playful Petals stamped with Worn Lipstick on a scrap of pink paper and Faded Jeans on a scrap of blue. I pieced it, popped it up on foam and added Baby Blue Liquid Pearls.
The monkeys are made with various circle punches, large oval for the body and a swirl punch for the total, all punched from scraps.

OMG... those punch art monkeys are too cute as they peek out from behind the playful petals! Love that stamp, and you've reminded me to dig it out and ink it up. Love the recurring dots!
