Hello everyone! Today's Technique Lover's Challenge was to use multiple rubber bands on a block of wood and stamp with either VersaMark, or Craft Ink... and then either emboss, sponge or whatever to get an interesting background. I chose to use VersaMark and emboss with copper ep, then again with gold ep. I also used the sketch for ODBDSV02. I started out making the fishing image from ODB and it didn't look that great with this bg I made, but I had this Sweet 'n Sassy Chickadee on my desk that I had colored with Copics, and I liked how it looked. The narrow side is brushed gold paper run through the cb.
Hope you like it. I needed a masculine card so I hope this fills the bill.

Absolutely divine Grace!! I love everything you have done on this card...the textures here are fantastic, so rich. The dry embossed panel is perfect and your colours are spot on. That chickadee is the cutest little thing....he can fly over this way!! Great challenge card Grace!!

Grace~ I love the bg you have created! How do people think of these things? What a great idea. Birds are a favorite of mine and I love how you have colored this lil tweeter so perfectly. Beautiful card sistah.
