My last few cards have been mixed media. This is not because I have all of a sudden gotten in touch with my inner Dini, but rather, because my MOJO has flown the coop....zippo, zilch, nada (you should see the creative way my auto correct tried to fix those words). When all else fails, throw whatever is nearby onto a piece of heavy weight cardstock and see what appears after all the dust settles. I really did start by taking the white kitchen paper towel that I used to wipe up some spilled gesso
and glued it all lumpy and wrinkled to the CS. Then I glued some scrunched up cheese cloth down and globes of light modeling paste through a stencil. I covered the whole mess with gesso. Next I sprayed delusion sprays, blotted, sprayed, blotted etc etc etc. Since I do not have a single clock stamp or die cut I used the gear die cut, and metal spinner, and wood numbers for a faux clock. All of that was covered with inka gold. I added gold tule, lots of different color perfect pearls dots, and a metal bow with wire wrapped into coils. What a glorious mess I ended up with. My husband wasn't sure if this was a large mistake or what I planned to make. I sure was fun to experiment like this. TFL, Francie
