Lisa, thank you for hosting this weeks heartbreaking Teaparty brought to us by Pat. We are sending Teapotter hugs to Katherine, a young mum battling Stage 4 inoperable Neuroblastoma.
I hope this cutie putootie brings a smile, she is coloured with Prismacolour pencils (no pencil blending or Zest it this time), but as always I have gently wiped a walnut stain distress ink foam pad over the image before fussy cutting. This adds an ever so slight aged look and removes the bright white areas.
The background is from my stash - squirt Dylusion ink spray on to aluminium foil, squirt on water and dunk cardstock in inky puddle. At a guess it looks like I cleaned a sunray stencil off in the right hand corner and used up some left over modeling paste on the left side.
Fussy cutting is my all time favourite technique, especially as I use copy paper! I only applied a glue stick down the centre of her head and body, so the hat and sides sit up a bit.
Thank you for looking, I hope you are safe and if able, I hope you can stay at home.

What a heartwarming creation you have created for this very sad situation. Your image is just a smile in an envelope and the colors are so soothing. I always love all the little added details and leaving the edges loose look s fabulous.

Your little lady is darling! Love how you colored her, and such amazing fussy-cutting you do! The background is fabulous!

This is just the sweetest and I LOVE the color of that background. Also love the hint of sun. I have learned some things about getting the most out of my stencils in this challenge gallery. I'm sure this cutie will really brighten Katherine's day!
