and I love the new Lilly Pad Lake SU! and Enjoy Life sets.
So I combined them all.
I stayed in the soft neutrals of the shirt. I started with colored pencil, moved to water color pencils, then, moved to water color, then covered the whole thing in distress ink. Covered the bird in Stickles - he is soooo pretty IRL.
This one is going to a friend whose father had his leg amputated this week. Diabetes is so scary!!!!
Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

Oh, wow, Nancy, this is gorgeous! I giggled when I saw you bought something (I love it BTW), because I am ready to do the same...haha! Wonderful site! I really love the top you chose, and what a stunning card and wonderful description of how you achieved the look. Yes, Marge is amazing, and I love her cards. I can see how she enabled you! I'm so sorry about your friend's dad who lost his leg -- diabetes is a terrible thing. He's going to love this card! Hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo

Nancy, this is so, so beautiful! I love the soft tones and your exquisite bird. And, because I love blue, I like how you added some blue to the flower. A sad situation, but an uplifting card sis!

So sorry to hear about your friend's Father. Diabetes is a terrible disease. Your card is so gorgeous! The Crumb CS is a wonderful base for the coloring! It really stood out in the gallery for me.
