and I love the new Lilly Pad Lake SU! and Enjoy Life sets.
So I combined them all.
I stayed in the soft neutrals of the shirt. I started with colored pencil, moved to water color pencils, then, moved to water color, then covered the whole thing in distress ink. Covered the bird in Stickles - he is soooo pretty IRL.
This one is going to a friend whose father had his leg amputated this week. Diabetes is so scary!!!!
Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

How sad for your friends father . . . this, however is a beautiful card of encouragement and the neutrals make this well suited for a masculine card. Love the subtle hints of color in your florals.

Ooooh, I love this, Nancy - the soft blue against the neutral colors, the gorgeous flower stamp (I'm drooling over that one too), and the inspiring sentiment, a real wow card! Faved!
That is a gorgeous new set you purchased! Stunning card! I love the sentiment! The bird flying out of the card is a beautiful visual of the sentiment, leave it to God and fly on!!!!

What a gorgeous card from your inspiration. I love the beautiful colors and verse. I agree, Diabetes is one terrible disease. My son has it and has had numerous problems ever since he got it at age 30.
