This is for Allison's fabulous sketch challenge. Also, I challenged myself to create from my stash. I started with a panel of embossed holly design (#1) that I had received in a swap and layered it on red & then on a Kraft card base. I used a long retired, but beloved pre-stamped image of teddy bear in a Christmas stocking with holly leaves & berries (#4). I wanted to use a doily (#3) and had to pinch & pleat it to make it smaller. I was interrupted at this point and when I got back to it, I forgot the doily wasn't small enough yet and glued it down. Chalk it up to a little creative adjustment and the layout is still evident. Attached the image only in the middle and tucked in some silk holly leaves that I've had forever. Put a die-cut "love" sentiment on top (#5). Used glitter pen on the die-cut love and on the berries & parts of the image. The finishing touch (#2) is a luscious red velvet ribbon. Inside sentiments: "Love to you at Christmas" and "Wishing you a beary merry Christmas". Terrific layout. I hope you can work with it soon. Looking forward to seeing what you create. TFL
