Do people who live in Maine get a lot of moose Christmas cards? Probably. This one is going to a friend in Maine. I just can't get enough of these wicked fun Holiday Portrait digis from LePetiteMarket. I like this funny moose that blinked in his picture. Ha!
Ally's sketch was a challenge for me. I don't have any of those nice pine tree branch punches or anything that seemed just right to be tucking behind the oval in the sketch. So I decided to make a loose bow out of some ribbon and twine to tuck in there. And I love it. Plus it was perfect for my holiday portrait moose, although I did have to stretch him out to make him a bit taller to fit properly. I kept the woodland theme through the card with this wonderful Recollections paper that I bought on clearance at Michael's after Christmas last year. Looking forward to see what they've got this year!

This has to be the cutest darned moose image I have ever seen. The scarf around his neck is just the best, and those eyelashes! Ha!. Your choice of dsp and the lovely ribbon and twine you used really make for one gorgeous Christmas card! ~Karen.

I like your idea with the ribbon and twine behind the oval. Looks great.
