Hello everyone! Made this card for today's Featured Stamper - FS210 Willow01 aka Charlene (what a fun and colorful gallery!) - and for yesterdays Inspiration Challenge. This is my first attempt at brayering solo following yesterday's Zindorf Beginning Brayer Class (where I had the pleasure of meeting not only Michelle Zindorf - but ALSO the one and only PAM124 aka Pamzalina!!! She is as sweet and fun in person as she is here on SCS - and the first SCS'er I've ever met)!!
Then found more inspiration after browsing Charlene's fun gallery. Charlene - I love your wonderful sense of style, bright vibrant colors and beautiful designs. I found this beauty and used it for inspiration as well: {For You}
Changes were with layers, added color, brayering, no stitching, heavy hemp instead of ribbon.
Needed a masculine card for a coworker and wanted to try brayering, but now that it's done I think it needed a more defined horizon... I'll have to remember that next time LOL.
The sun was masked before brayering, then gently sponge-colored, the trees were dry-embossed with an embossing folder, then colored using Craft Brown and Artechoke ink with Sponge Daubers. The scene is matted on Espresso, popped, matted on saffron and popped again.
Thanks everyone for looking!!
Enjoy your Sunday!!
Audrey

Wow! You've achieved such depth of color here and the brayering is outstanding! I just got this ef for my mother (she lives in Alaska and these pines would make good Alaskan cards!) so I would love her to see this and just how beautifully it can be used - wonderful! How fun getting to meet one of our "cyber" friends in person!!

oh, Audrey, this is wonderful. You are concerned the horizon is not that defined, but I thought it was perfect. My thoughts were a haze or fog settling around the trees, when the fall air is cool but the ground is still warm. I just love it. I need to find a tutorial on this, in the meantime another for my FAVS. TFS.
