Hello everyone! Made this card for today's Featured Stamper - FS210 Willow01 aka Charlene (what a fun and colorful gallery!) - and for yesterdays Inspiration Challenge. This is my first attempt at brayering solo following yesterday's Zindorf Beginning Brayer Class (where I had the pleasure of meeting not only Michelle Zindorf - but ALSO the one and only PAM124 aka Pamzalina!!! She is as sweet and fun in person as she is here on SCS - and the first SCS'er I've ever met)!!
Then found more inspiration after browsing Charlene's fun gallery. Charlene - I love your wonderful sense of style, bright vibrant colors and beautiful designs. I found this beauty and used it for inspiration as well: {For You}
Changes were with layers, added color, brayering, no stitching, heavy hemp instead of ribbon.
Needed a masculine card for a coworker and wanted to try brayering, but now that it's done I think it needed a more defined horizon... I'll have to remember that next time LOL.
The sun was masked before brayering, then gently sponge-colored, the trees were dry-embossed with an embossing folder, then colored using Craft Brown and Artechoke ink with Sponge Daubers. The scene is matted on Espresso, popped, matted on saffron and popped again.
Thanks everyone for looking!!
Enjoy your Sunday!!
Audrey

Fabulous card!!! Love this - it's perfect just the way it is! And what fun to attend a 'Zindorf' workshop!!! And to meet the one and only Pamzi, the Fruitflake at the same time! (Did she have marks on her head where Peggy had to pry the QFTD crown off?) Welcome aboard the 'crazy train'! RYPH (Raise Yer Punchez High!)

I am so jealous - you got to go to a Zindorf class and meet Fruitcake in person! I love Fruitcake and have always wanted to go to a Zindorf class (I actually signed up for one but she had to cancel it and there hasn't been another in our area since).
Ok, about your card, this is amazing - it is so pretty and you did a fantastic job! Love the way the colors blend together and really look awesome with the embossing. Wow! Impressive!

Wow! AudreyAnn, this is gorgeous! I know the Zindorf class had to be a lot of fun..even with Pam there. Bwwwwwwaaaaaaaa I have this embossing folder so maybe I could send it to you and you could do something with it as I have had a bit of a challenge trying to use it. LOL I really like the thicker twine you've used..seems more masculine. Love your card and it is sure to be appreciated by your co-worker.
