This is the card I made to send to Lost in the 60's (Diane) who is today's featured stamper! OMG~What a gallery! Diane, you are very deserving of today! This is the card I cased:
1. Working with this road map paper made me think about all of the times we have gotten lost! Most of the time it's going to a race track somewhere that is out in the boonies and sign up closes in 15 minutes. We are lost and probably 30 minutes away.
2. You know what it's like doing this with a kid in the car whose whole life depends on getting to the track on time?
3. This card was pretty easy to make but probably one of the most stressful since it brought back some very, very stressful situations! We always drive by a road and I say turn here! The photographer says right or left? By the time I look down and figure out which hand I write with its too late, we have passed the turn off , the next exit is 42 miles away and Brad is hyperventilating! See what I mean? Stressful! Hey I am a cardmaker, not a navigator!
4. Speaking of races, the photographer took the camera to a race so I had to use the scanner. I wonder if he and my son are lost somewhere????
I kept the layout pretty true to Diane's but I added the corners. I didn't have an arrow stamp so I had to use a birdhouse stamp! Congrats Diane!

Once again when I checked out the FS for today, I wondered how you would pull this one off. Now I had no doubts that you would be able to do it because I knew you would do something really fab and you did. Love
those bird house arrows-so clever, the paper and your story. I never can keep my directions straight. No wonder DH got me a gps. Atleast now I know he doesn't want me lost in 2008. I guess he could have gotten it for another reason-so I might travel and he would get quiet time without me.

Another classic Cindy! I kept trying to understand what you meant by using a birdhouse since you didn't have arrows - that image looks like it is supposed to be an arrow!! Cool. Love your story too!

Lots of empathy here from another 'which-hand-do-I-write-with' direction giver. Get's really interesting if it's a curvy road and car-sickness threatens.
But your card is very clear. Go this way! Or that way! OR that! or THAT... or was it that way? I wondered where you got your clever arrow stamp. Wonderful!
