This is the card that I made to send to Teneale who is today's featured stamper! Wow, what a gallery. Every single card is just gorgeous! This is the card I cased:
1. What is cool about the Featured Stamper challenge is some of the people featured I have never even seen before! It's just great to be introduced to their gallery. Teneale, your is awesome!
2. I know, I know....Beth said to forget the Captain! But...well.....I couldn't think of another idea. Besides I wanted to see just how far I could push Beth's buttons! We will see....
3. I never really liked the Captain. He was sort of a bump on a log. I think the only reason *Tenille* kept him around was for his hat. You know the whole marketing image thingy!
4. I sorta feel quilty saying that about him after all I have never met him but the fact that I put his hat on this card should make him feel better about that!
5. Instead of stamping words on the background I did computer generated words cuz I didn't have a stamp that said what I needed to say! Duh.... Instead of using ribbon on the bottom I used a music note.
6. Congrats Teneale! You should be proud of your gallery and cards. They are spectacular! BTW, I like the way you spell your name better than the way she does...it was probably the Captain's idea to spell it that way!
Edit: For the bill of the Captains Hat I covered cardstock with Versamark and then embossed it with Ultra Thick Clear Embossing Power. I was going for that patton leather look.....I got lumpy patton leather!

Jimminy Crickets! Holy cow! Land Sakes! I had to leave some new comments for this spectacular hat! I love the cb on the top! And I thought the bill of the cap was glitter which is perfect for the Captain...or Liberace....so whenever Liberace is the fs of the day you will know just the technique. I would love to be there for Teneale's reaction when she see this hilarious creation of yours!!

Classic MotherMark! Now I will have that song stuck in my head (hope it goes away during services today, or I will get 86'd from the pew!) There's a picture! I love your CB panel in the bg and the fabulous 'rope' treatment! Love how you honor the FS Cindy- great job!

I fought with myself over this challenge. I see you did too! I am much OLDER than you, so this brought to mind the Captain's father, Carmen Dragon. I really wanted to do a card with a dragon in his honor (he was not nerdy like his son), but I figured I would be bounced out of SCS for being TOTALLY whacked! Anyway, long story short, I love the computer generated stuff, the hat, and the note!!
