This was a perfect layout to use up those die cuts IÂ’ve had for about five years. The die cuts are from a in store machine.
The sun is two pieces and both are different shades of yellow but not what I liked so I sponged the top one with orange and the bottom with pumpkin then red. It is glued to the card.
The cuttlebug swirls are yellow paper on the top only and the core and back are white so it was perfect for a sanding effect and I used the sanding block.
The cardstock layers are yellow with color sponged on the edges. It didnÂ’t quite match the swirled yellow panel so this was a good alternative.
The image panel is colored with artist brush and re inkers; the sky is sponged on using a template and pad ink. Doodles are added with a black gel pen.
Diamond Glaze adds dimension to the water drops.
The inside of the card says Fun in the Sun!
