I used the polished stone technique for the navy using only one color. The light orange flower is darker in real life and itÂ’s created with embossing powder right onto the navy panel. I also stamped the outline twice in both white and black. The orange matting is embossing powder on white cardstock. Sponging was done on the tan base. The butterfly is cut out and tacky glued in place. Corners are stamped with white Brilliance ink.

Your polished stone is stunning, maybe you could come to my house and we could do the kitchen counter tops,,,,,,pondering that idea....wonder if that would work! hehehehe

i love the colors and all the texture in this card. i have to go search for "polished stone" technique. where do you all learn about so many cool techniques?
