This is for the Inspiration Challenge and the photo that inspired the card is in the link’s first post. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=185633
I used the polished stone technique for the navy using only one color. The light orange flower is darker in real life and it’s created with embossing powder right onto the navy panel. I also stamped the outline twice in both white and black. The orange matting is embossing powder on white cardstock. Sponging was done on the tan base. The butterfly is cut out and tacky glued in place. Corners are stamped with white Brilliance ink.

What a beautiful, rich looking card Roxi. Polished stone is my favorite technique but I never thought of doing it with just one color. Blue is my favorite color too. It is absolutely gorgeous! I really like the corners stamped on there too.
BODACIOUS!! That polished stone looks awesome with this and the abstract was a great background. I always learn something from your *inspirations*, Rox!
