Gosh, what a busy summer it's been for me...dog sitting, going up north, volunteering for events at our historic site, stamping, stamping and stamping. I'm guessing we all could add to the list. That said, I'm squeezing in three challenges. I'm heading out again today, until Tuesday.

MIX-THE MOON!!! I wish you could see how my moon shines, with the bottom layer being the silver.
I began my senior year in high school right after the moon landing. My family was up north at our cottage, watching the moon landing on a very grainy tv with poor reception. I remember thinking two things: I cannot for the life of me make out where Neil Armstrong is on that ladder and WHAT THE HECK WAS THE LAST WORD HE SAID??? I couldn't believe that it was all crackly. Are you kidding me?
I have always followed the space program with interest and awe. I have never seen a launch, but I guess, if you time it right, there are still launches happening. Certain launches, you remember exactly where you were. I've been watching a fair amount of PBS shows this week and there have been some photos and video I have never seen before. Wonderful! I think it's amazing we managed to get there so quickly. Interesting tidbit: the computers in our phones are more powerful than the computers used to manage that adventure.

Jean, you nailed this challenge and landed on the perfect design. I love your bg, swirlies, moon and stamp. I also worked with a postal stamp, but didn't feel it was mixed media enough for the gallery, so I put a thumbnail of it in the MIX338 thread. Check it out if you're interested. I salute you.

Love this! Great job on this card to represent the moon landing. I was not around yet when the moon landing started but I have grown up reading about it.

That is a most interesting tidbit! I love your collage of moon adventure. The postage stamp is awesome. Fabulous vintage moon. Fun to line up all the challenges in one cool card. Have fun on all your adventures.
