I created this moon and star gazing card for todays Mixability and Free 4 all challenges.
Mix338 - we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing!
F4A491 -create a card with a base plus one layer
I used this adorable House Mouse stamp - Together under the moon to create my scene.
I stamped my HM image with memento black ink - masked off the moon as I wanted to place it higher up on my card. I created a mask for the Mice - Sponged in the ground area. The mice were coloured with copic markers. I made a mask for the moon. I Used several blue copic markers to colour in the night sky. Using white paint - I splattered on the stars. Removed the mask and using grey ink - I created the moon scape. Dotted the night sky with silver and gold metallic paint. I used my stamporatus to stamp on the sentiment. Matted image with black card stock.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs.. Pat

I love your card!! It reminds me of a great children's book illustration. Your coloring is magnificent! Masking the moon to move it higher was a brilliant idea!!

Oh my gosh, this is so sweet and really gorgeous too! Thank you for describing how you made your sky- it is stunning. I love how your placement of the moon and how you created your sky spotlights these charming mice so perfectly. The cherry on top of this card is your wonderful two-part sentiment! This is a real wow card Pat! ~Karen.
