I wanted to try Lydia's Debossed Monoprinting technique again from MIX 298 Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I used Distress Oxide re-inkers this time and they worked well. I rummaged around for items in my collection of vintage laces and decided to combine these 4 snippets. I embossed the image and sentiment. I waited too long to apply the powder to the phrase and it's a bit hit and miss, but then I thought the rest of the card has a messy look to it as well, so I am OK with it. Teensy green gems were placed here and there for the added sweet cookie Jan asked for in her teapot challenge.

I don't know how I missed this one in the gallery, I thought I'd gone right through it. I can see why Sonja - and her mother - were delighted with it. The texture in the debossed background is a great combination with your wonderful snippets of lace...and looks great with the added gems too.
