This is for two challenges - today's CAS challenge to keep things simple by using only one word. My word is Happy!
The other challenge is for Falliday, and it is BeJoyce's challenge to "pick up the pieces."
I am working with new SU! product - Graceful garden stamps and Petal garden memories pack and dsp. I love, love love it.
The scraps are leftovers from a fund raiser I held for my very dear friend a few months back. It was a beautiful day - 175 people came and made cards and said goodbye to sweet Betsy.
There were a LOT of leftover supplies. So I am teaching an I love Roses! card making class next week. These cards are practice/prototypes/demo cards for the event. You will notice the same scraps across a couple of cards - the Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White layers, with the little ribbon tab.
The green die-cut circle was also a leftover from when I was creating my Z-fold card and doing various trial layouts. The background layer of Happy was also a scrap from when I cut down one of the 6x6 sheets as a background. Oh, and the Sugarplum circle was a scrap too.
It's cool how the same "scraps" can make such a different look.
I didn't realize the butterfly was retired but I am using him anyway. I have many of them - they were done with the shaving cream technique and reinkers.
Thanks for looking.
