This is for one of the Falliday challenges to use the block technique. You can barely see it, but it's there.
I am working with new SU! product - Graceful garden stamps and Petal garden memories pack and dsp. I love, love love it.
The scraps are leftovers from a fund raiser I held for my very dear friend a few months back. It was a beautiful day - 175 people came and made cards and said goodbye to sweet Betsy.
There were a LOT of leftover supplies. So I am teaching an I love Roses! card making class next week. These cards are practice/prototypes/demo cards for the event. I have a lot of these dragonflies left over. Friends came over and lovingly picked ALLLLL the little bits out of the dragonfly die-cut. I am not going to waste one of them!!
The dragonfly is coated with Wink of Stella, and somehow large globs of it came out. It's ok - it's a bit excessive but I like the effect.
Betsy loved dragonflies, and whenever I see them or work with them - I like to think that Betsy is visiting me.
The cards we made at the fund raiser were done with very very retired Bashful Blue. I brought out the last of my stash. I changed the blue for this card in order to make it more current and match the dsp.
SU! was very generous for this fund raiser - they gave me supplies toward the event. We raised $11k in a month - Betsy had a lot of people who loved her.
Thanks for looking.
Lela
