When I saw the challenge, I knew I wanted to use this die for the edge of the card. I cut the edge of the card and thought "Oh, I don't need the white outline for this card. So right away I took all the pieces of the rose and leaves and colored them to go with a background I had made . Then realizing I did need the white outline part to imbed the pieces into, I had to cut another one. then cut one in red for the rose and in green for the leaves. I inked the greeting with a marker so I could just use the Merry Christmas part of it outside and the "and a happy New Year" part inside.

I just love this die cut and the red is spectacular on the flower. Fantastic CAS to this card. Beautifully done. Thank you for creating two stunning cards for the decorative borders challenge.
