Finally an opportunity to use a really old set along with the newer sewing set. The quilted frame seemed perfect for this challenge since I needed a frame for the verse. I decided to use the color challenge colors for this card for Cheryl since I think they are great quilting colors!

Oh my, Pat, this is so beautiful, and I love that you've used the Color Challenge colors too! The quilted frame is so beautifully colored, and I love the polka dot paper for the background (now who doesn't love polka dots?). The little pin cushion, the measuring tape, and the Bernina sewing machine are amazing! And, yes, as Anne said, it's a very nice sewing machine. I have several (well, more than that), but my machine-embroidery sewing machine is a Husqvarna (which I no longer use now that I make cards). I just love this best part of this card, and that's the precious Scripture verse that is so dear to me! Oh, Pat, thank you so much for making this beautiful card! I am so touched by your coming to the tea party for me! I am so encouraged and feel so loved. Thank you, precious friend! xoxo

LOL, I was thinking when I saw Bernina on the machine that it can't be that old. I'm sure they've been around longer than I think, mind you. - and that one doesn't look electric, it looks more like the old Singer I learned on. Gorgeous rich colours in your frame, too. And those pincushions always make me smile!
