Finally an opportunity to use a really old set along with the newer sewing set. The quilted frame seemed perfect for this challenge since I needed a frame for the verse. I decided to use the color challenge colors for this card for Cheryl since I think they are great quilting colors!

You're right - we did use the same quilted frame. I love what you've done with it. The colors are outstanding. What a great job you did coloring the tiny pieces of the quilt. The polka-dot background paper is a lovely complement. The accents of the sewing machine, pin cushion and tape measure are wonderful and so cute. You chose a lovely verse to encourage and bless Cheryl's heart. This is "sew" nice. TFS

I love the way you made your quilt. You gave me a duh moment. Everytime I use my frames, I think it needs something. This makes a perfect frame for the sentiment. Duh, why have I not seen this? Thanks for the inspiration.

Holy Smokes, girl, did you ever create a winner on both challenges! You've got all the right colors and you've got all the right elements for the perfect card to keep that quilt from further unraveling. It's always important to have someone involved who brings the necessary tools. I love this card, Pat. Job well done on both challenges.

ooops, forgot to mention how impressed I was to see you brought your best machine to the party. Bernina, huh? Very nice machine. I've entertained the idea of buying one but since cards came into my life, I don't really sew much anymore. Sweet die.

Pat, this is so darn cute. I love all the details. I hadn't noticed the sewing machine was a Bernina until Anne pointed it out! I sewed on my mom's for years. And your tomato pin cushion-perfectly colored and shaded.

I love the vivid colors you chose for the quilting frame! That's a terrific image, and you created a wonderful card! Love the pincushion- I have one that's almost as old as I am
