Wow.....it feels so good to be back in my craft room!! This is for Lisa's challenge today to be moved by music. I just got home from a lovely vacation where I did something I've wanted to do all my life....but all the necessary elements had never come together. They did this time. I sat on our third floor balcony of our hotel room watching 25 foot ocean waves crash into the lava right beneath me!!! The spray kept hitting me!!! It was honestly a thrill of a lifetime. And while I was watching.....I listened to Strauss with my headphones....truly a dream come true!! I could still hear the waves....believe me....that were crashing so hard they were making the balcony shake....LOL!!
Anyway....I put on Strauss this afternoon and made this card. The ocean with butterflies flying over it.....Hawaii is famous for both.

Your inspiration sounds phenomenal......some things in life are the best when we are quiet and just listen. This card is amazing....working with acetate is not easy. You captured the look of the water and the sounds you described. Glad to see you back

Vacay sounds like it was wonderful. Good for you. I find the crashing of waves to be so beautifully relaxing. I love your card. Great application of acetate. BTW, can I have the name of the company that you ordered that gorgeous lady from? I want some more dramatic images, so I'd love to see what she's got. There is a new MISTI out that would resolved my issues with getting the color to laydown on CS. It's priced at $70 so I'm on the fence about getting it but the classy lady with the dog would be a perfect reason to purchase one. hope you are well, my friend.
