Hello all,
I used the same stamp for this card but did the Embossing folder stamping for the bg. I used a music folder. I actually made this card especially for Lisa (Shoe Girl) because of her wonderful story. The sentiment says to "never stop dancing to the music of your heart". I stamped the bird again in blue and cut him out and foam taped him on. Added some punched butterflies and then decided to add a banner of pennants with some die cut music notes on it. They are strung on Baker's twine. I colored in the leaves and stems. I used another tighter/smaller design ef to emboss the white layer and die cut it with a ODBD die with stitching to go with the other two layers that have stitching borders.
Thanks for looking.
PS, my grandson, Jordan, is like Lisa in that he plays several instruments and seems to be able to teach himself how to play about anything he wants. LOVES music.

This one is gorgeous too, Robin! I'm loving that stamp set and once again, your incredible background with embossing folder stamping! The musical notes on the pennants look wonder. Your flair for design never fails to amaze me. What a beautiful color combination.

Your bg stamping with the EF turned out SPECTACULARLY, Robin. Beautiful colors. The banner with the added notes is a neat touch....and a great sentiment.

Aww I am humbled you making a card specifically for me. Shucks! This is so beautifully done too. Keep encouraging Jordan to play, it was always such a great outlet for me growing up and I am so thankful every day that I can play so many instruments. I have even given free private lessons for some that needed help and really wanted to learn. It is so rewarding. Hugs! Thank you for playing in my challenge with two beautiful cards. Hugs!
