For the last challenge of this year's HYCCT we were to be inspired by a favorite childhood book. My favorite was one of those little Golden books and it was A Child's Garden of Verse by Robert Louis Stevenson. The pictures in the book were darling and inspired a lot of daydreaming, at least on my part. My favorite poem was one called The Swing...you may know it..."How do you like to go up in a swing, up in the air so blue? Oh, I do think it is the pleasantest thing ever a child can do!" I had the whole poem memorized and can still recite it. I thought this image evokes the playful and carefree nature of that poem.
