Definitely an inspiring site for the challenge to-day. I chose this item http://www.worldmarket.com/product/p...page=2&from=fn as my starting point. This is the last of the 'Rocky Flowers'* that I have on hand so The Big Orange Freak suggested I use it on the promise that he will make some more in the coming week. I really should get that in writing but since he does not have opposing thumbs I am out of luck! The flower was put through a cuttlebug folder ..something damask I think and the leaves are the two step punches by Nellie Snellen. I used my Martha Stewart mini score board to make the corner borders.

Sue, this is lovely and of course, the flower is the star! Love the patterned and tinted vellum petals and leaves. The vellum gives such a delicate and fragile look. The accent scoring was all that was needed on this super stunning card. TOO funny about your cat's artistic and helpful bent.

LOVE your vellum flower and my favorite furbaby kitties are Orange! He is masterful at overseeing the making of these beautiful flowers. I LOVE the embossing you did on the pettals and the finish work with the scoring is very impressive! (says one who is score challenged). I love the sentiment you picked for this beauty...
This is so sweet. I loved popping back to your previous card and reading the story. I wish any of my four cats could help me come up with a totally new technique. LOL! Seriously, your flower is gorgeous against the all white background and your score lines are such a perfect element of interest without distracting from the flower. I love the black sharpie dots in the center. Very creative.

Love the beautiful drama your big bold flower adds to your crisp white card that is perfectly finished off with the added dimension of your great scored border
