Definitely an inspiring site for the challenge to-day. I chose this item http://www.worldmarket.com/product/p...page=2&from=fn as my starting point. This is the last of the 'Rocky Flowers'* that I have on hand so The Big Orange Freak suggested I use it on the promise that he will make some more in the coming week. I really should get that in writing but since he does not have opposing thumbs I am out of luck! The flower was put through a cuttlebug folder ..something damask I think and the leaves are the two step punches by Nellie Snellen. I used my Martha Stewart mini score board to make the corner borders.

So pretty and soft - a great birthday card - but I think it would also be awesome as a floral Mother's Day card! Very nice take on the inspiration piece - thank you!

So pretty Sue, I'm assuming the big Orange Freak is now the teacher and he only teaches the course once..... I hope you were paying attention in class. Give him kisses and he may remind you and help to make more. Love the embossed flower... Who know vellum would react like that... I surely didn't... Since I do love orange, I'm sure the teacher and I would be friends...lol... Love the simple layout and scoring to showcase your bloom... Thanks for playing today

Looks like Mr. Meowaboa has gone out with a 'bang', Sue! Beautiful flower and great take on the inspiration too! I love the added score lines; such a nice way to encompass your lovely centerpiece! You have such a sweet kitty......now I'm just wishing one of my poodles would teach me something, but they don't jump on my desk when I'm hard at work......
