Don't throw damaged or old cd's away
Here is an other way to give them a second life.
Take a deep plate and put just enough water in it to cover the cd .
Put it in to the microwave for about 15 sec.
If it is not enough, put it back for a little bit more, but be careful because the cd will produce sparkles in the microwave, and this should not go on too long !!

This is awesome. I have bunches of them saved for the specifac purpose of cardmaking, but never did this particular technique. Maybe I need to try. You have a beautiful card.

What a fabulous card..and what a fabulous technique. Who'da thunk it! If you cut the CD into smaller pieces say..jewellery pin size will it still crackle like that?
