well, you've gone and done it again, Roxie! another outstanding sketch! It took some thinkin', but I think I made it happen, have a look.
I need 3 birthday cards this week...so where better to begin than with Basic Grey's cupcake paper group?! I've been anxious to use this wonderful time stamp from Stamp Francisco...I inked it with VersaFine Majestic Blue and popped onto the two right panels. My party hats are reverse images if you noticed...both unmounted, one from Purple Onion Designs and the other from Above the Mark. They were both stamped with VersaColor and embossed. I hand cut the mats for each. I used vintage German scrap foil for the whup-de-do's on the hats...red stars for one and blue shells on the other. The Happy Birthday is from Crafty Secrets numbers set. I mounted all panels onto black linen cs and the base is GP white.
Thanks for having a look see and as always I love to read your comments. It's Wednesday everyone!!!

Really interesting images and I like the asymetry you've created even with a very symetrical sketch! Clever.

Wow Susan, what a fantastic card. Love the message that time marches on. At first glance of the thumbnail I thought it was Mickey's sourcers hat and thought of our memory filled trip to Disney. But I love the party hats and the balloons. Wonderful card.
