The challenge was to use scissors in any way, bonus points for pink. I thought about using the scherenschnitte tutorial (Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers, but as I have a couple of stamps and even a die in sewing-themed collections, I went with one of those. I stamped my sentiment and then used the peg stamps to create a frame all round it. Popped that up on foam on an embossed (DoCrafts Abstract Thistles) base. I added the little paper button heart for some extra interest - tried it with gold thread but it didn't look right.

I love that soft pastel frame you created for the sentiment. That button looks like hand painted enamel NOT paper! It is the perfect addition to all your tiny stamped images.

Well I'm oohing and aahing over all the wonderful details. Love the ef bg for the base; Love the soft colors you used on the flowers; love the flowers and how you arranged them as frame; Love the addition of the gold scissors and pins; Love that sweet heart; and, I LOVE that beautiful and inspiring verse. Excellent card for this Tea Part guest and I know Carol will love this too.
The soft colors you used with the peg stamps are simply wonderful, Sabrina! Love how you overlapped the stamped images to look like a frame (I thought it was a wreath at first), and made the sentiment the focal point...the embossed background is lovely as well!
