"New" is the word! The House Mouse and Friends Challenge is to use something New, the Twisted Sisters challenge is focusing on New (no pink - I cheated a bit on the Pacifier - sorry Tater), and I wanted to use something new!
My sweet niece Stephanie is going to have a baby next month and her shower is next weekend. All the aunts (there are 9 of us) are throwing her a shower; last I heard there will be 80 people, and I am in charge of pimento cheese sandwiches - yum! I use bacon bits and three different cheeses in mine and I love it. I am putting the recipe on my blog if you want to try it:
Stephanie's husband, Josh, is a big hunter and the baby is going to be a boy so I made my little house mouse card using camo. The camo paper is new to me but everything eles is old. I figure the paper and the new baby on the way count is the new part of the challenges#.
I used this week's Queen for the Day, Wendy2512's sweet peaceful rest card as my inspiration:

Oh my! Camo BABY! Yes! Nancy, this is so perfect, and I do believe Sweet Tater will forgive ya on the wee touch of uh..."light red". Lol! Gosh, if someone told me we had to make a camo baby card, with HM's, flowers and a big delish bow, I think I 'd have to walk away crying. This is about the cutest baby card ever. Love how you are blessing Wendy too, what a treat! LYMIMIMIMI

This is such a cute idea for a baby card! You are so creative...I just love how you made this so special for them! I am sure they will just love it! I am with Pat on this one, if I was told I had to use the colors and patterns you did for a baby card, I would have just thrown my hat down....but you did it, and you rocked it! Great job!

Just as adorable as on your blog. Love the camo for the Dad-to-be. I bet he will appreciate you thought of him while making this cutest card.

I have to admit that my head was on sideways when I first saw the cammo paper and the elegant spray together...thanks for the clarification in your description. What a hoot!! This is about the most perfect personalized baby card that I have ever seen, way beyond my feeble imagination. Your niece and family are so lucky to have you! Hugz.

Now, what is this????? This is one of the neatest HM cards I've ever seen. That punch count is top notch. I absolutely love everything about this "Nancy" card. It's so awesome!
