"New" is the word! The House Mouse and Friends Challenge is to use something New, the Twisted Sisters challenge is focusing on New (no pink - I cheated a bit on the Pacifier - sorry Tater), and I wanted to use something new!
My sweet niece Stephanie is going to have a baby next month and her shower is next weekend. All the aunts (there are 9 of us) are throwing her a shower; last I heard there will be 80 people, and I am in charge of pimento cheese sandwiches - yum! I use bacon bits and three different cheeses in mine and I love it. I am putting the recipe on my blog if you want to try it:
Stephanie's husband, Josh, is a big hunter and the baby is going to be a boy so I made my little house mouse card using camo. The camo paper is new to me but everything eles is old. I figure the paper and the new baby on the way count is the new part of the challenges#.
I used this week's Queen for the Day, Wendy2512's sweet peaceful rest card as my inspiration:

Oh my goodness this is adorable. Look at that image-too darn cute. Love your abilitiy to personalize a card for the recepient. It makes it that more cherished and treasured. I can see your niece mounting this in the baby book-I still have cards from my Mother's baby shower. Well, that was back when they never knew the sex of the baby!!! Boy have times changed. Have fun at the shower and enjoy those sandwishes.

Stehanie and her husband will love this. I never thought I'd say that a card with camouflauge was "sweet", but this one sure is. Have fun at the shower and thanks for the recipe.
