It's been a crazy week at our farm----I've not made one single card:(. I've been painting fences, pulling weeds, washing windows....you get the drift. Reason....When the Green Bay Packers play on September 8th, it's going to be a big party, free concert etc. The local schools are closing early because of traffic. The Today Show is going to showcase some of the local surroundings. You know Wisconsin the the dairy state, so they would like to do a segment on our local cheese factory. It's called BelGioioso and we ship our milk to them. They make specialty Italian cheeses. The Today Show wanted to see were the milk comes from to make the cheese. They choose our farm. They didn't want a mega farm, but a small family farm. So they are coming Wednesday to film the milking of the cows. Unlike a stamping room, when company is coming you close the door. A farm is in everyone's view....so we had some cleaning to do!
This morning I took a peek at SCS just to see what my stamping friends have been making, and to my total shock I saw TrishG's card with my user name in the title. I was overwhelmed to think it could be me with this honor. I made a "Holstein" thank-you card for all the kind stampers who sent me wishes, and cased my cards. I will get to comment at a later time. What ever I do as a stamper I've learned from all the fantstic stampers on this wonderful place. Thanks Trish for giving me this honor. Linda

Wow, you were sweet to put this together in the midst of your facelift at the farm. This sounds like quite an honor and hopefully it will air nationally and we will all get to see this. Keep us posted on the air date. I can sit there and say, "I know her, I know her!". WE're internet buddies!!! Congratulations on all the ways you seem to be getting honored!! Very deserving in both realms of your life!!!

Whoo Hoo!!! Congratulations on your farm being filmed to be on the Today Show! We will have to be sure and watch it on September 8! I know how you feel about your barn. Seems like I can't ever keep mine clean. It's a horse barn with sawdust floors so...dust, dust, dust. Congratulations on being our Queen! You are most deserving!

So happy you were surprised!! Good luck with your cleaning, etc. When you have time, look at all the cards done in your honor. This one you made is fab too!

I am very excited for you and hope that Wed went really well. Where will this be shown? What a neat thing to happen. We used to own a "hobby farm" up near Green Bay. Always trucked up there on Fridays. How exciting.
And my big congratulations on being chosen queen. Enjoy your time. I can't wait to stroll through your gallery. And by the way this card is totally gorgeous!!!

WOW, congratulations to you and your beautiful farm!! How exciting to have guests coming and filming there. I would love to have a tour myself. I'm sure there are some very wonderful things about living there, but also very much work. I hope you are satisfied with your clean up job. :>)

Another beauty for our eyes! Just love it and that gorgeous dotted ribbon. You certainly deserve this honor. I had so much fun going through your beautiful gallery of cards. Love the white on white.
Wow! Sounds as if the farm is on high alert. We'll have to see The Today Show airing. Have fun with that...after you get all the hard work done so you'll be ready.

Oh, Linda, how exciting - the Today Show. Please let us know the day it is to air. Your SCS fan club is sure to be watching. And your card is wonderful. Have not had a chance to play as yet, but I already have your card set aside that I will be CASing. Again, congratulations on your farm being featured - and a big congrats for QFTD. Well deserved honor.
