It's been a crazy week at our farm----I've not made one single card:(. I've been painting fences, pulling weeds, washing windows....you get the drift. Reason....When the Green Bay Packers play on September 8th, it's going to be a big party, free concert etc. The local schools are closing early because of traffic. The Today Show is going to showcase some of the local surroundings. You know Wisconsin the the dairy state, so they would like to do a segment on our local cheese factory. It's called BelGioioso and we ship our milk to them. They make specialty Italian cheeses. The Today Show wanted to see were the milk comes from to make the cheese. They choose our farm. They didn't want a mega farm, but a small family farm. So they are coming Wednesday to film the milking of the cows. Unlike a stamping room, when company is coming you close the door. A farm is in everyone's view....so we had some cleaning to do!
This morning I took a peek at SCS just to see what my stamping friends have been making, and to my total shock I saw TrishG's card with my user name in the title. I was overwhelmed to think it could be me with this honor. I made a "Holstein" thank-you card for all the kind stampers who sent me wishes, and cased my cards. I will get to comment at a later time. What ever I do as a stamper I've learned from all the fantstic stampers on this wonderful place. Thanks Trish for giving me this honor. Linda

Linda, what a pretty card - how nice of you to take the time to make this beauty in black and white. I have yet to join in this week - we were moving (the RV was on the road for a couple of days) so have yet to get back to routine.
How exciting to be chosen to be on TV, though we can certainly relate to the stress! Will this be the morning of Sept. 8? I hope it is that week - right now we are in a location where the satellite company will not allow us to have network tv, without kind of a hassle (federal rules, I guess.)

Oh, Linda, you are so deserving of the honor! And what an honor to have your farm picked! I hope that once all the cleaning is done, you can enjoy the spotlight. I'll bet that's some good cheese! I'll have to keep my eye out for it here on the east coast. Enjoy!

Congratulations! OMGosh, it has been a hectic week for you. I wish I had seen this before the Today show. I would have loved to see you and your farm. Ah ha, that's where your moniker comes from. I got it now. I'd be out there cleaning under highway lights nonstop if the Today show was coming to my house. You must be so proud and happy. That doesnt happen to many people in their lives. How special. Enjoy your day and all it's excitment. Congrats too on being selected as QFTD. Way to go, girl.

This is so pretty. I am so happy for you and all the wonderful things that you have going on. I will borrow a Packers hat when I watch The Today Show next Thursday.
