I couldn't find a necklace to wear to the 4th of July Picnic so I made this one with a vellum metal edge tag, silver brad, silver cording and red ribbon. I colored back of tag with a marker. The flag is from an incentive set. It was stamped on cardstock and cut out and attached to the tag. I covered the tag with TTT (using circle punch) and then micro beads. Fun and simple project!

Jami, This is a great project. You are very clever. Have you been lurking around the pennywise site by any chance? You could teach an online class on this nifty idea. Very cool!

Thanks for all the kind words!!! TTT is Terrifically Tacky Tape. I bought a sheet of it at Michael's (bought it for the beaded pens). I punched out a circle with my circle punch and it fits in the metal edge tag - that's what I used to stick the beads on. (I think Pennywise sells a version that is easier to punch) Also I hooked the cording and ribbon to the brad in the back and glued it with Crystal Effects
