Hi! This framed piece was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge:I've Been Framed! Participants were to frame stamped pieces.
Just this morning, Markie pointed out that one of the pictures on the living room wall was crooked inside the glass. I looked at it and shrugged it off as to something I'd get around to fixing! LOL!
So, it took about a hour, and I got around to it after I read today's challenge. I put the original picture in a DIFFERENT frame and decided I liked this frame for today's challenge! I cut the two Fleur de liz frames and then cut off the points and adhered them to the back of the label die cut. Next, I sponged on Cote d'Azure Palette ink for a background. The ribbon and charm were added for a bit of interest. I used a Crop-a-dile and punched 3 holes in the mat of the picture and added the decorative brads.
The image was stamped in Burnt Umber. I used an aqua painter to draw the color into the center of the image. The eyes are colored with a blender pen that I dapped onto the Cote d'Azure ink pad!
Frame size: 9" square interior of frame: 5 1/2" square
Total time to complete: 38 minutes

This is great Faith! I love the coloring and the way you added interest and visual texture with the die frame, the charm and the ribbon. The brads and the dies add that extra touch that adds interest and draws visual attention to the center. I love it!
