Hi! This framed piece was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge:I've Been Framed! Participants were to frame stamped pieces.
Just this morning, Markie pointed out that one of the pictures on the living room wall was crooked inside the glass. I looked at it and shrugged it off as to something I'd get around to fixing! LOL!
So, it took about a hour, and I got around to it after I read today's challenge. I put the original picture in a DIFFERENT frame and decided I liked this frame for today's challenge! I cut the two Fleur de liz frames and then cut off the points and adhered them to the back of the label die cut. Next, I sponged on Cote d'Azure Palette ink for a background. The ribbon and charm were added for a bit of interest. I used a Crop-a-dile and punched 3 holes in the mat of the picture and added the decorative brads.
The image was stamped in Burnt Umber. I used an aqua painter to draw the color into the center of the image. The eyes are colored with a blender pen that I dapped onto the Cote d'Azure ink pad!
