I stamped my image in pale gray for a no line coloring look and stamped additional branches along the edge of the card. Colored the bird with copics and enhanced with pencils. Darkened the branches with pencil and added the red paint to the berries. Sponged the sky using a torn piece of paper with grays, pink and a bit of pale blue. Ran it through the printer for the sentiment, misaligned the whole thing and printed over the image. Had to start all over. Added just a little iridescent ice on the edges. Dang, I hate when that happens. Another senior moment. Thanks for stopping by.

So beautifully soft and peaceful looking! Thanks for the detailed description on how you did it! And sorry to hear you had to redo it after the sentiment misalignment!

Oh, Nancy, how terrible! Oh, gosh, that doesn't sound right! The card is absolutely gorgeous; how terrible that you had to make it twice! Beautiful image and wonderful background - I bet this one came out even prettier than the first one would have been.

Oh how fantastic this is Nancy! Your treatment of the chickadee gives the stamp an entirely different look. I love it! The extra branches really look perfectly in touch with your scene. I would never have had the heart to redo it after printing in the wrong place. :-( Kudos for your patience!

Your snow is so fluffy and looks so soft, Nancy! This is incredibly amazing, fantastic coloring! The bird appears to not have a care in the world.....such a gorgeous Christmas card!

Soft, serene, and peaceful, the no-line coloring technique gives this image such a dreamy look - SO sorry about the printer mishap, and having to start over, but I honestly thought you did this yourself in Calligraphy - just stunning!!!
