I stamped my image in pale gray for a no line coloring look and stamped additional branches along the edge of the card. Colored the bird with copics and enhanced with pencils. Darkened the branches with pencil and added the red paint to the berries. Sponged the sky using a torn piece of paper with grays, pink and a bit of pale blue. Ran it through the printer for the sentiment, misaligned the whole thing and printed over the image. Had to start all over. Added just a little iridescent ice on the edges. Dang, I hate when that happens. Another senior moment. Thanks for stopping by.

I put this in my faves and I am definitely going to try and case it. I love the soft feeling and that sweet little no-line bird. So soft and dreamy. You do the most amazing things with ink and paper my friend. Hugz

EVERY single card that you do is SO SPECTACULAR, Nancy. Your colors are yours alone and no one could do them better. Jaw-dropping coloring on this entire card... especially the sweet little sparrow.

Hi Nancy, love this wonderful card. I bought this stamp before Christmas, but didn't get to use it. Love how you colored it up and the extra berries look awesome. He looks so cold...great job with the background too. LOVE IT. Need to find mine and get to it for a winter card! You always inspire me.
Hugs
Sue

It scares me to try to print on a card after I've got the design on it. Die cutting after you've embossed doesn't work either! I love this fluffy little bird! and what a beautiful setting for him! Truly peaceful!

Ooh, la, la.....Nancy, I love birds and what a beauty you made with this one. Those clouds are outstanding, too. I LOVE this card and it was well worth the trouble. Pinning.....

Oh Nancy, This is simply gorgeous! The soft colors speak 'serenity'! Your branches are different enough that they look hand drawn. Your little birdie looks so cold with the wind blowing at him! Very well done! tfs

I had to go resubscribe to your gallery AGAIN! I didn't get the upload notice on this awesome new card of yours! You have captured the crisp chilliness of a winter day wonderfully in your scene (brrrrrrr) and your bird does indeed appear as if it could hop right OUT of your scene and fly away! Your background clouds and what almost appears as a snowy mountain range simply ROCK! SUCH a beautiful job of coloring (once AGAIN!). Lovely job of matting and framing this sweet little bird as well......How frustrating to be so close to finishing the card and having to start over... I have done that with a stamped sentiment and then had to figure out how to cover it up! Regardless this turned out simply amazing....
